SUCCESS!

Benton, you totally rocked.

October 9 was a celebration of neighbors showing up for neighbors. You gave us a night to remember—and helped keep Jesse James Foods going when we needed it most.

One community. A whole lot of heart.

A most excellent speech from Jesse

Dudes. Neighbors. Legends.

Okay, Benton—if there were a guitar solo big enough to say thank you, we would need approximately seventeen stages and a time-traveling phone booth. Because what you did for me? Totally outstanding.

When the trailer burned on September 9, things got seriously bogus. But then you showed up. You donated. You shared. You checked on me. You helped put this fundraiser together. And you reminded me that Jesse James Foods had an entire community in its corner.

Let me be completely real: without everyone’s help, I would not have made it for a week, let alone a whole month. You helped me survive until insurance finally made a decision on the fire. Every GoFundMe donation, every other contribution, every helping hand, and every person who spread the word mattered.

The insurance decision? They’re paying only 10% of the amount stated in the policy. Definitely a bogus part of this adventure. But between the limited help from them and the most excellent help from all of you, I plan to be up and running within the next month. The comeback is officially cooking.

To everyone who hauled gear, set up, cleaned up, donated prizes, brought the family, played music, served food, or simply stood beside me: you helped carry me through one of the hardest months of my life. That is bigger than a fundraiser. That is friendship with the volume turned all the way up.

So raise your air guitars, you magnificent humans. Be excellent to each other. Party on. And get ready for more Food Worth Robbing a Train For!
